ADVITA Anantika : PURE KOSA SILK MULTICOLORED
Anantika — infinite, boundless, without end. ADVITA Anantika is a Pure Kosa Silk saree in a vibrant multicoloured palette, where Bengal's ancient weaving tradition meets the wild, earthy soul of Kosa silk. This is a saree that celebrates abundance — of colour, of craft, of heritage.
The Story of Kosa Silk
Kosa silk, also known as Tussar silk, is produced from the cocoons of wild silkworms that feed on the leaves of Arjun and Saja trees in the forests of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. Unlike cultivated silk, Kosa is gathered from nature itself — making it one of India's most sustainable and ecologically rooted textiles. The resulting fibre has a naturally golden-beige tone, a slightly textured surface, and a strength that outlasts generations.
Bengal's weavers bring their own mastery to this silk, layering the Kosa base with the fine weaving traditions of Murshidabad and surrounding regions — creating a fabric that is both deeply rooted and strikingly contemporary in its multicoloured expression.
